Dear Bob,
I guess it depends on exactly what you are after in an 'endangered species'
list. There are so many variations depending on whether a species is state
or nationally threatened, and there can be a number of different lists for
either. If you are after an official list of current threatened species in
Australia, have a look at the Environment Australia web site:
http://www.ea.gov.au/biodiversity/threatened/index.html
This site contains a list of all threatened species (i.e. Extinct in the
wild, Critically endangered, Endangered, Vulnerable and Conservation
dependent) as listed under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity
Conservation Act 1999.
Bob, I assume you still live in Victoria so if you want a list of Vic.
threatened species, try:
http://www.dse.vic.gov.au/dse/index.htm
then follow the prompts to plants and animals, native plants and animals,
threatened species etc.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Chris

Hi
Can someone direct me to where I can find (preferably via the Internet) an
"official" listing of all Endangered and Threatened Australian Species?
Thanks
