Hello all,
I always look forward to returning cuckoos, they are usually later in my district than in many other places, but my first Channelbill Cuckoo this spring was a bit hard to appreciate at 1:15 am in an angophora outside my bedroom window this morning, 28th Sept.. No Koels yet thank goodness, my pair of garden Red Wattlebirds are feeding two of their own offspring at last.
