I'm not a subscriber to either News Limited or The Times, so I can't provide a link to the following item that appeared in yesterday's Australian. Birders are ethically divided over the use of tapes to attract target birds for twitching purposes [given the potential impact on the birds concerned].

The use of tapes for hunting purposes is a different kettle of fish [haul of birds] and appears to have the potential to have significant impacts on target bird species.
