G'day Stuart Some friends of mine reported a Powerful Owl from The Wannon Falls Reserve (about 10km west of Hamilton) on the weekend (Sunday 7th Sept). I saw the bird there yesterday (Tuesday 9th). It was roosting in a grove of dense Cedar Wattles.
