Dear Birding Ausers
Adrian Boyle has sent me his first Fork-tailed Swift sighting and as
often is the case it was in Western Australia (4 Sept). Could this
motivate the rest of you to get outside and look up more often so we can
trace their early movements.
Where will the first needletails be seen?
I have not seen any in PNG yet but you may see them before I do. I will
see Glossy Swiftlets before you because I am taking my Orni. class to a
breeding colony on the next two Thursdays.
Please let me know what swifts you locate this season. Many thanks.
Happy birding
Mike
