In response to a bit of
traffic on here about cuckoos - most recently by Jill Dening - I wonder
how many of you have seen this excellent resource ....
http://www.users.bigpond.com/LesMikeBrooker/cuckoos.htm
Curiously, this great bank of data seems not to have been utilised
during the preparation of HANZAB, as some of the host associations
recorded here are missing from HANZAB. This is seemingly despite the
Brookers' excellent reputation.
Anyhow - it doesn't answer Jill's question, but it does provide ample
material for exploration. The photos of eggs and nestlings, plus host
database and references are all rather interesting.
