Hi Simon and all Regarding Chestnut-brested Mannikins at Prospect Reservoir, there number vary but I would regard them as uncommon as I don't see them here all the time. I have also seen them at nearby Greystanes. Prospect can at times be good for finches and I have seen there Red-browed (abundant), Double-barred, Zebra and Gold Finches as well as Nutmeg Mannikins. Diamond Firetails may also have occurred there in the past (many years ago I presume). Edwin |
