This message was prophetic. When I had a shower last night, I found a tick embedded in my hip. Let's talk about something else like winning the lottery or seeing a Red Goshawk!

Cheers,
Ian

I understand it has to be one particular element in the Vitamin B
complex - possibly Vitamin B12.
At any rate, the same effect can be optained by the regular consumption
of home-brewed (ie live non=pasteurized) beer - or so I am told.
Mosquitoes and sandflies are certainly repelled, but I have no knowledge
of any effect on ticks, I'm afraid.

Wendy,

Do you take Vitamin B tablets? They are supposed to discourage
mosquitos. Maybe they have a similar effect on ticks and leaches.

Just wondering . .
