Given that Bas mentions "The bird was banded on the right leg with a bright sapphire/metallic blue band ( approx.3 mm wide)." can we check this feature with the bands used in the breading program (i.e. does right leg bright sapphire/mettalic blue band mean anything to them) to see whether there is a link - is there anyone on this list that can forward this to a relevant person on the program. I'll try and get down there this week end. Bas can you give me specific location. Simon. |
