Hello again,
After taking too many pictures of birds with purple/green halos this
year we've decided to upgrade, and invest in a decent scope (an APO/HD
one).
We'd like to buy a Swarovski/Leica, in the larger 77/80mm size (with a
20-60x zoom eyepiece).
Would also like to buy in Australia, and have done some ringing around
and a bit of web-surfing...
Least expensive prices we found for the body/eyepiece/post were $3250
for Leica, and $3950 for the new Swarovski one.
These are scary prices ($3950= nearly 200 bottles of $20 red wine).
Has anyone out there found a cheaper place recently?
Or perhaps even better, has anyone got a 2nd-hand high-end scope they
wish to sell?
