Hi,

I recently moved to Sydney and I am searching now for some good spots for
waders and waterfowls in this area. I've read some old mails which mentioned
McGrath Hill wetlands and Pitt Town lagoon. Although not the right season
I've been there last weekend. I've found the McGrath Hill wetlands without
any problems but want to ask if observing is really only possible from the
main road or if there are other possibilities to access this area.
Another question is: At the place where Pitt Town lagoon is displayed on my
map there was only some reed but no water. Is it possible that it is seared
at the moment or is my map just wrong?

I would be also grateful to get other tips for spots in Sydney area e.g.
coastal wader roosts, mudflats, sewerage plants ....

Thanks,
Jesko
