I have no Blackbirds on my block but there are plenty in the district (South Aust. Riverland ) and I have always thought that their beautiful song compensates for them being ferel, I don't know that the English ones could sing any better than our South Australian ones, maybe I must join Vicki Powys and make an effort to record some songs and put them in the archives before they stop singing.
