Still no sign today of the Swift Parrots that were at Nepean Hospital (Penrith NSW) during June and early July. I searched the hospital grounds as well as some of the surrounding streets. There are still plenty of Rainbow Lorikeets, Red Wattlebirds and of course the ubiquitous Noisy Miners around. Either the Swifties have moved on or they are spending more of their time elsewhere. There have been no definite sightings posted on Birding-Aus since 6th July. If anyone finds them please post a message. Penrith is on the western outskirts of Sydney.
