Hi everyone
I've been too busy to read most of my email this week (lots of marking
as well as learning the notes for way too many accompaniments) but I
have noticed some more of the same old stuff - things we can really do
without on this mailing list.
PLEASE - once you've stated your case on a subject, let other people
have their say, and only buy into the argument again if you have more
to add! Let's not have people going over and over the same issues from
the same immovable perspectives. I think it weakens an argument
somewhat if it is restated so many times that everyone gets thoroughly
sick of it. the number of people leaving this mailing list might be
due to school holidays, but I think it has more to do with the nature
of many of the messages in the last week or so.
Please abide by the list guidelines and have the courtesy to use your
real name if you want to be taken seriously.
PLEASE NOTE: My work mailserver will be going offline for several
days, starting at 6pm today. Anyone who needs to contact me should do
so via:
(or bigpond.net.au)
Thanks, and I hope you all have an enjoyable weekend watching some
birds.
