A friend has just sent me an email saying a "confirmed"
Powerful Owl has been roosting in a nature strip tree
(liquid amber?) in Nelson Parade, Williamstown.

It has been seen for 3 weeks in daytime and a photo was
taken through plate glass by the staff in the Navy building
who have the bird in full view.
