Gidday
All,
yesterday morning I saw a Little Raven at St. Claire (Western Sydney). I was
fairly pleased with the ID as I was doing about 2 points at the time. Luckily the bird landed
whilst I was watching, the slighter build and different flight had caught my
eye, and gave the characteristic wing shuffle.
The bird was seen
from the M4 motor way at Mamre Rd, the same spot where I saw a Brown Bittern fly
over the road last december.
Maybe there are
more Little Ravens (and other drought refugees) than are being
reported
Cheers
Graham Turner
