Just a quick update to confirm that the Regent Honeyeater is still in the red box-gums at Newstead. Whilst out there today, my wife and I also saw a couple of purple-crowned lorikeets in the same trees. There didn't seem to be many of them, so maybe more were nearby or are on their way...?
