I have copies of the lists from 1953-56, given to me by Arnold McGill. I subsequently bound them into a single volume. They are strictly Australian & nowhere in the Introduction nor the Editorial is mention made of lists being complied in other parts of the would. It would appear that the lists were compliled between 14 August and 5 September with World Bird Day occuring on 24 August. I trust this helps.
