Dear All Another brushtail/powerful owl "story". While on a school camp at Moora Moora in the Grampians NP, I heard a PO calling and decided to try to call it in with my tapes. Well, thew owl didn't respond but around midnight, this brushtail started "screaming". I had just enough spotlight cord to reach from the bus, and spotlighted a PO sitting in the open on a lowish branch (10m) of a tree with the possum about 5m above it, in the canopy. The PO didn't seem at all interested in the possum but it seemed the reverse wasn't the case. John Harris Doncaster East Hotmail now available on Australian mobile phones. Click here for more.
