A Swift Parrot was picked up by Blue Mountains WIRES yesterday near the Nepean Hospital Penrith after being mobbed by Noisy Miners. The bird is in care (not at the hospital) and reported to be doing fine at the moment. (I think this is the first Swiftie to come into the BM Wires system) More news later Timothy Hyde Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
