Circa 1970 I was told that Regent Honeyeaters were regular summer visitors to the grounds of the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, in Ivanhoe, Melbourne. But I never saw any. Other people (more expert than me) regularly reported them at Bird Observers Club meetings. I wonder when they stopped coming?
