Having seen the Regent Honeyeater in those beautiful big old Ironbarks down Newstead main street this week I couldn't help thinking of a month ago being down in Bendigo, just East of the town centre and North of the McIvor Highway(around Beischer St. and Lloyd st) where the big old Ironbarks are in full flower(and lots of them). It was (is) full of Wattlebirds,Lorikeets and Noisy Friarbirds.Would have to be perfect for a Regent.Might have to check it out again, what was that prize Chris?.....the last three volumes of Hanzab?(only joking).
