Hi Jonny
Myself and Peter Lansley had no problem finding
Carpentarian GWs in the escarpment country 40 km south of Borroloola in late
August 1991 - nearly 12 years ago now and I know plenty of others have had
difficulty seeing the birds in that location since. Took us about 90 minutes to
get onto the birds so we considered ourselves pretty lucky - as indeed we were
on all the grasswrens on that trip!
