Hi all Just a note to suggest that things in Darwin are not as bad as this paints them. I can't give stats but "almost all interstate vehicles left unattended" [are broken into], is a lot like some of the NT crocodile stories (police officers are as entitled to exaggeration as anyone else). My advice is that in Darwin, like elsewhere, take sensible precautions such as not leaving valuables in a vehicle, and certainly not leaving things of value visible if there is no option than that they be left in the vehicle. Happy birding Niven |
