SIPO: Whereas Bo Totterman reports that the one near Ballina has disappeared, Alan Rogers saw another at Arrawarra Beach some 30 km N of Coffs Harbour, NSW on 24 & 26 May 2003.
Cory's / Streaked Shearwater: A bird believed to be one of these two was watched by Rob Farnes and Peter Barrand for over an hour at distances to 500 m from the headland 1 km W of Port MacDonnell, SA on 31 May. Unfortunately a telescope was not available.
Masked Owl: Rob Farnes found one dead recently in SW Victoria indicating their continuing presence in that region.
