I've often thought about a webcam focussed on a birdbath, but the trouble is
that the action is intermittent. It can be all go in one spot, then nothing
much there for a while, while it's all happening 20 metres away. So a camera
would pick up a lot of static twigs and water, unless we set up half a dozen
webcams, and a control room to switch between them!

I suppose this is why nest sites are so popular for webcams - you can be pretty
sure there's something there, a story being told, even if it's a bit quiet.

I would have thought Bill Jolly's verandah may be a good spot for one.

Or for that matter, a selected position at any of the Australia
'birding-oriented' lodges/accommodation. It might be a very good
publicity/advertising gimmick for them.
