Hi All,

Continuing the search - Australia seems to be short of good birdcams but there is an excellent New Zealand nestcam  at the Omaru Blue Penguin colony - it refreshes every 60 seconds.

My criteria for a "good" site include:
- Frequent refreshment of the picture.
- Some informative info about the species' behaviour and ecology.
Contributes to awareness / understanding of bird habitat and conservation generally
- Ethically operated
- Minimal commercial advertising.
- Not simply a captive zoo subject
- No gimmicks (not sure about the Blue Tits in Norway in their fully furnished apartment! Can't imagine an Aussie parrot falling for that sort of soft living . . .)

Anyway, we receive these treasures free, and it must be challenging to maintain the cams in working order. And they are much more interesting than the "big brother program" human equivalents on TV.
