Hi everyone.
Thanks for all the interest about the male Scarlet Honeyeater on 28 May.
Checked the "grey mistletoe tree" yesterday morning (29 May) with another birdo and we were pleased to see a Crescent Honeyeater. It was chased off by a Fuscous. Recently, we have had two possible sightings of this species, one at Strathfieldsaye and the other at Mandurang, so probably a few around. Definitely another new one for my patch. (Sedgwick)
'Birding' has been great lately with the influx of Noisy Friarbirds - another new one for my bush block. The Rose Robin (male) was seen here last week, too, so life is good.
Regards from Glenise
