Judith Hoyle and I spent an enjoyable morning last Sunday exploring some of the areas adjacent to the southside of Brisbane River. Apart from the fantatstic autumn weather we enjoyed some good birding, the highlight being a wetland behind the GJ Fuller Oval on North Road Wynnum West

Highlights were

2 Wandering Whistling-ducks
6 Glossy Ibis
50+ Magpie Geese
4 Pink-Eared Ducks
20+ Hardhead

plus the usual suspects

If you are in the area it is worth a look

regards

Gavin
