What used to drive me loco was thoughtless people that would call despite putting a sign up which read "BEWARE a red-headed warrior that could be upset by you ringing his doorbell after he has worked a 12 hour night shift lives here" I did give some thought to a front door bell ringer cover which when openned to ring the door would give out a prerecorded message say:

"John is asleep at present after working all night"

I wouldn't wake him, but if you are sensationally attractive, 22 years of age, female and your father owns a brewery then please do not be silly and fear waking him up?

Biased and bigoted lawmakers that think with blinkers? re 9am till and 8pm and when do night shift workers sleep then eh?

Telemarketers just hear my answerphone and hang up.  Anyone knocks on the door Luther my Dobermann scares them off.  Beauty !!

Tony.

Well, I was caught out by a call at 8.20pm last night but looks like soon, instead of saying I'm busy getting the kids to bed, I'll be able to fine the so-and-so person.

Peace - no cold callers after 8pm

The next time a telemarketer interrupts your dinner or favourite television show, there might be a more vengeful option than just hanging up.

Under proposed laws, telemarketers and door-to-door salesmen will be restricted to operating between 9am and 8pm, or face an $11,000 fine.
