g'day all,
Re David Geering's note:-
Most museums are more than happy to receive specimens ... they make perfectly good skeletons

The Museum at Alice Springs has an impressive display of Bird skeletons.

By the way the mummified Night Parrot was found 17/10/1990 by Walter Boles,Wayne Longmore & Max Thompson 36 kms north of Boulia (Central West Qld).  Refer Boles, Longmore, Thompson. The Fly-by-night Parrot, Australian Natural History, Winter 1991,Vol 23 No.9 pp 688-695 This journal is published by the Australian Museum, Sydney.

Regards
Bob Forsyth, Mount Isa, NW Qld.
