Dear All

Another new bird for my Lake Twitch - a Great Cormorant, sitting peacefully in a tree over the lake - bird 69.  Also seen were Gang Gangs, the usual plethera of Long-billed Corellas, Kookaburra ( first record since early Feb), White-plumed Honeyeater (2nd record only) and 6 species of Duck - Grey & Chestnut Teal,  Black Duck, Hardhead, Wood Duck and Domestic - these counted as they have bred there last season.

Happy Birding

John Harris

PS - Alan, I'm catching up to the "Puny" twitch tally.

Dear All

A couple of new birds for my Lake Twitch over the past week.  Having not visited Ruffey Lake Park (Doncaster, Melb) since before Easter, I was pleasantly surprised ( and relieved) to finally see a Darter - a female and also to hear Eastern Yellow Robins calling away.  These 2 birds take the tally to 68 for the year.

Regards
