A very agitated Masked Lapwing flew a lap of AAMI Stadium during the first quarter of the Crows v Fremantle match on Sunday, disappearing over the top of the Members stand. It returned and did the same thing at the end of half time as the teams emerged. Hope it hadn't picked out a nesting place in the middle of the ground! 8 or 9 Crows, (black ones, not the red, blue and gold ones on the field), overlooked the last quarter from the top of the floodlights. Couldn't tell whether they were Australian of Little), but they proved to be a good omens.
