Hi All
I'll be having a flying visit to the
western district in the next few weeks, but hope to organise a few hours over
the 2 days to catch up on some birding.
Being based in Edenhope
overnight, I entered this into the archive and Jilpanger Scrub/Southern
Scrub-robin attracted my attention. This species was also mentioned around
Arapiles-Tooan Park. Has anyone current info regarding this species in
either of these parks please?
Any other info regarding the
birds of the area plus suggestions as to which Park to search for the SS-R
(considering the limited time available) would be appreciated.
Incidentally, I found the thread
re the overlap of Superb/Variegated Fairy-wrens and Southern Emu-wrens (Lawrie
Conole et al '98) very informative.
Thanks and happy birding
Marlene
