Hi All, Last weekend, i did a boating trip out from Queenscliffe on my first trip out to Pope's Eye and Mud Island. The Gannets and Black faced Shags were great to see close up at the Pope's Eye, but i was a bit worried about mooring the boat and wading out to Mud Island, since i wasn't aware of the tides and the whole place was still a bit of a mystery to me. Can anyone please suggest the most appropraite time/tides and methods of visiting Mud Island in a speedboat with an outboard? Thanks, Peter |
