G'day all,
By coincidence I did see a single male Common Koel yesterday 6 km south of the CBD.

Re Indian Peafowl:
Nearby in the high grasses was a group of 4 Peafowl with 4 25cm high chicks in tow. This could be a new colony! Another feral colony has been living for many years about 1-1/2km to the north.Peafowl were present in the river area about 1km north of the CBD a year ago and have been breeding at Warrina Park near the Lake Moondarra Dam wall for many years.

Regards
Bob Forsyth, Mount Isa, NW Qld.
