Hi all, Just a quick report of a very pleasant Sunday trip Joy Tansey and I took on Sunday March 16. We drove north on the Warburton/Jamieson Rd stopping occasionaly to check likely spots. One stop was at Koala Creek where we saw Satin Bowerbirds. Just beyond here, at what turned out to be 20k south of the Eildon Jamieson Rd, we stopped as two large grey pigeons flushed from the road. We walked up hill trying to find them and came on 4 Wonga Pigeons feeding on the road and at the base of blackberry bushes that edged the road. Our guess is that there were in fact 6 Wonga Pigeons feeding over a distance of some 100 metres.
