> Hi birders, This morning as I was chaperoning the kids > to school by bike I heard a single Swift Parrot call on three > occasions in the Yarra Bend area. Re Swift Parrot, likewise. This morning I saw a single bird (flying in a north-westerly direction) near the intersection of Park St (near Brunswick Rd) and Royal Parade in Parkville/Brunswick. I suspected it was landing in trees nearby (I didn?t have time to stop) so it may be worth checking this area out. There was also a lot of lorikeet/parrot action happening at the lower end of Royal Park around Elliot Ave etc. Cheers, Tim
