At this afternoon's Rally for Peace outside the US Embassy here in
Canberra, 13 Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoos flew over the crowd, calling
mournfully. How appropriate that they are also known as the Funereal
Cockatoo, Calyptorhynchus funereus. In despair ... David |
