This really only concerns birders in Victoria, I guess. I've noticed the new Melbourne Age commercial (the one where the two parts of the Age land in a T shape on a hammock) has a bird call in it - it comes up twice, but I don't know what the bird is. To my only very lightly Euro-trained ears it sounds not entirely unlike a European Willow warbler. However, it's not so different to a Rufous whistler as to be totally out of the question. Any thoughts, anyone? I'm all at sea.
