Hi Robert
We had a similar experience on 12th Feb at Greens Bush, Mornington
Peninsula, Vic.

After much confusion and discussion as to what the chattering bird was going
to be our local bird watching group, PENBOC, came upon an immature Grey
Shrike-thrush. It was mimicing Crimson Rosella, Blackbird and I think
Magpie - quite a repertoire
