I'm really very grateful to everyone who replied to me about the problem of
the lady with the noisy lapwings on the next door block.

Some of you went much further than I would have done in expressing your wish
that she should raise her environmental awareness. But after just a brief
loss of breath, I forwarded all observations - uncensored for the most part,
though I had to draw the line at a couple of suggestions.

On balance, I think she received a good mix of considered practical advice
along with some environmental wake-up calls. I've also stressed to her that
it is illegal to interfere with the birds in any way.

Thanks again

Bill Jolly
