I monitored my downloads this morning - 34
messages and one with a 384K attachment - and with no transmission
gaps. I have not noticed any gaps at any other time when getting emails or
news groups.
I do notice occasional gaps when generally surfing
the net - and this is caused where the remote servers (where the target
page resides) need time to compose data for transmission, or where the servers
or the transmission links are busy with other traffic.
I have a Picknowl block hours account - no
complaints.
