About 6:15 pm today (Sunday 23 February) I observed a female Little Bittern at the wetlands in the Murarrie Industrial Park, off Lytton Road.  The bird was on the southern end of the large island and remained in view from the main observation platform for about ten minutes.

Murarrie is to the east of Brisbane city and on the south-side of the river where the Gateway Bridge touches down.
