G'day All, In reply to the words of thee fine young John Penhallurick: Now Now John John, what are you thinking of? there's far too much logic in doing something like that? and when is the last time you saw logic prevail eh? shame shame shame on you, I strongly urge you consume some more chocolate today, have a becks, then go lie down and rest. Heavens forebid John NEST thing you want us to believe is that bird tourism helps a growing economy! shame shame shame. Ouch I've just bite my misplaced tongue. JAG, waddles off, email right, to get his award, or was that a reward? "Birding tell me what's better?" ================================================== John <> wrote: L.Knight mentioned a truism, when he mentioned an island which almost no-one is allowed to visit. It strikes me that it would be possible to put a few Kakapo on another island where birders and other naturalists who are prepared to pay for the privilege (I'd gladly shell out $1000) could be taken to view the bird under controlled conditions. This would be a quick way of raising a lot of money for the Kakapo program. John John Penhallurick or Private: P.O.Box 3469, B.M.D.C., "I'd rather be birding" Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
