Black Bittern in Townsville

There was a Black Bittern in the Palmetum in Townsville at dusk yesterday (Tues 11th) evening. I disturbed it near the footbridge over the creek behind the cafe at the main entrance. It flew over to the nearest of the ponds in the "wetlands habitat" and, later on, flew away from there in an easterly direction.
