With the large area of eucalypt woodland and pine plantation now burnt out around Canberra it could be expected that suburban observers will start to pick up some unusual sightings.  Having lived in the same location for about 30 years, of which the last 18 years I have kept detailed records, to date the only unusual sightings have been of wandering Gang-gangs; a species not recorded before in my area.  Has anyone else picked up anything unusual?  Surely, Gang-gangs are not the only species to have been displaced.
