Hi Colin The Freckled Ducks are/were at the Brunswick Heads sewage ponds behind the bowls club at the south end of the town. Go just past the bowls club into some sporting fields and the ponds are 300 metres straight ahead. Saw 8 FD's there yesterday (Sunday) at about 4 pm. I had been to a very well organised World Wetlands day event west of Woodburn in NSW. About 90 people turned up including some big groups of birders. Congrats to all involved, especially Justine Graham of Wetlandcare Australia. Cheers Roy Sonnenburg www.birdingservices.com.au Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
