G'day Jade,
I hope you had some luck with your search for weeros today. Basically
Beaudesert is at about the eastern edge of their distribution, and they
aren't that common there. You are more likely to see them round the
Lockyer Valley where they are fairly common. I generally see them when
I am travelling out along the Warrego hwy past Marburg.
I rather doubt you will find red-rumped & turquoise parrots, and
budgies inside the scenic rim though.
Regards, Laurie.

Hi All,
I'm heading out to beaudesert tommorow in search of my first wild
cockatiel. I have heard there are chances we may see red-rumped
parrots, Turquoise Parrots and Budgerigars out that way. I am not sure
about seeing the Turquoise or red-rumped parrots however my question
is are cockatiels a frequent occurence at beaudesert and what are the
chances of seeing these birds?
