I added another species to my Brisbane CBD list when I disturbed the
early morning cogitations of a buff banded rail on the boundary between
QUT and the botanical gardens riding to work this morning.
To date, birds of note on my CBD list would include - peregrine falcon - brush turkey - mangrove bittern - bush thick knee - koel - pheasant coucal - buff-banded rail. Regards, Laurie.
